1. Acceptance
By adding Sauna to a Discord server or using the dashboard at saunabot.rest, you agree to these Terms. If you act for a server or organization, you represent that you have authority to do so. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The Service
Sauna is a Discord bot and dashboard providing tickets, moderation, automod, leveling, roles, welcome and verification tools, custom commands, analytics, optional AI-assisted server analysis, and related community-management features (the "Service"). Features may evolve over time.
3. Eligibility and Discord
You need a Discord account in good standing and must meet Discord's applicable minimum age. Your Discord use remains subject to Discord's Terms and Community Guidelines. Sauna is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Discord Inc.
4. Administrator Responsibilities
If you add or configure Sauna, you are responsible for having authority to act for that server; complying with applicable law and Discord rules; configuring permissions safely; reviewing automated and AI-generated recommendations before acting; and providing notices or obtaining consents required for enabled logging, transcripts, moderation, leveling, or other features.
5. Acceptable Use
You may not use the Service to violate law or Discord rules; harass or harm others; distribute malware, spam, or unlawful content; evade security or moderation controls; gain unauthorized access to systems or data; impose unreasonable load; or scrape, reverse-engineer, resell, or commercially exploit the Service without written permission.
6. Availability and Changes
We aim to keep Sauna reliable but do not guarantee continuous or error-free operation. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features or the Service where reasonably necessary.
7. Pay If You Want To
Sauna follows a "Pay if you want to" principle. All currently available features are free, and optional financial support does not unlock commands, settings, higher limits, or preferential access. If this model changes in the future, any paid offering will be clearly disclosed before purchase and will have additional pricing, billing, and refund terms where applicable.
8. Automated and AI Output
Moderation automation, server analysis, and other recommendations may be incomplete or wrong. You remain responsible for reviewing settings and actions before relying on them. Sauna should not be treated as legal, security, or professional advice.
9. Disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without express, implied, or statutory warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that data or automated output will be accurate, complete, or preserved without loss.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Sauna and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, revenue, or goodwill arising from the Service. Nothing excludes liability that applicable law does not permit us to exclude.
11. Termination
You may stop using Sauna at any time. We may restrict or terminate access for abuse, violation of these Terms, risk to users or infrastructure, or other legitimate operational reasons. Removing the bot does not necessarily delete stored server data immediately; see the Privacy Policy for deletion and retention details.
12. Third-Party Services
Sauna relies on Discord, hosting providers, and—when an administrator invokes server analysis—Google's Gemini API. Those services have their own terms and policies.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as Sauna evolves. Material changes will be reflected by a revised effective date and, where appropriate, additional notice. Continued use after an update takes effect means you accept the revised Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania and applicable mandatory EU law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. EU and EEA consumers retain mandatory protections provided by the law of their country of residence.
